Sister Wives fans were shocked when Christine and Kody announced that they had split and were getting a divorce.

According to sources, Kody’s fourth and youngest wife, Robyn is the reason behind the breakup.

“She’s been in the process of leaving him for a while. The big reason why she split from him is because Kody has been completely devoted to Robyn for the past five or six years. That hasn’t changed at all,” the source told Us Weekly, adding that he and Christine “did not get along” anymore.

Both stars posted a statement to Instagram announcing the split: “Christine’s decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her,” Kody wrote. “Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents.”
