But that’s not what motivates me,” Greene wrote.The Ossoff campaign released a statement that read in part: “Senator Ossoff will defeat any challenger,” following Carter’s announcement. When asked about Greene’s decision not to run, the Ossoff campaign’s communications director said in an email, “The campaign does not have a comment at this time.”
