But thatās not what motivates me,ā Greene wrote.The Ossoff campaign released a statement that read in part: āSenator Ossoff will defeat any challenger,ā following Carterās announcement. When asked about Greeneās decision not to run, the Ossoff campaignās communications director said in an email, āThe campaign does not have a comment at this time.ā
