Boston police seek to identify 4 people in connection with St. Patrick’s Day assault
Investigators are asking for help identifying several people sought in connection with an assault and battery incident that occurred in South Boston on Sunday afternoon. Boston Police said the incident occurred at 4 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, in the area of East 2nd Street and M Street, just a few blocks from the route of the Southie parade. “Suspect 1 is described as a white male, with a thin build, wearing a Celtics jersey, a tan scally cap, and a dark long-sleeve shirt or hoodie under the Celtics jersey. Suspects 2 and 3 are described as black males, a fourth suspect who isn’t pictured was also described as a black male,” police said. Anyone with information about the incident or the individuals being sought by police is asked to call detectives at 617-343-4742. Anonymous tips can be submitted through the tip line at 800-494-TIPS.
