Police in Boston are investigating a series of break-ins on Beacon Hill overnight break-ins. The crimes are similar to a spree of break-ins in the Charles Street area last summer.Boston police were called to Charles Street around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. A witness said two businesses were targeted. But police haven’t yet confirmed a number or said if they’re related. In August, several Beacon Hill businesses were hit by thieves. Police reported four break-ins over two days. Some jewelry, cash and electronics were taken in those crimes. Two more break-ins happened a few days later, and a man was arrested and charged in those two incidents. WCVB has reached out to Boston police to see if Wednesday’s break-ins are linked to the August incidents.
