A Salem firefighter went viral after serenading a bachelorette party on Saturday.

On Saturday, a group of women from North Carolina asked the firefighters to serenade the bride-to-be, Salem Fire posted on Facebook. Firefighter Kenny Tejeda helped the bachelorette party complete the task on their party list by singing them a song in the acoustics of the fire station.

Tejeda sang the 2004 hit song “Let Me Love You” by R&B singer Mario, and the women sang along.

Tejeda told Boston.com that the bachelorette party walked by the station at first and then turned back to ask about if anyone would be willing to sing them a song. His coworkers then all pointed at him, knowing his ability to sing.

“It was a lot of fun. It was very random,” but that’s what made it so fun, Tejeda told Boston.com.

The group quickly became “an accidental choir.” He added, “It was nice to cement that memory for her…with how good the performance ended up being.”

Tejeda reposted the video of the serenade to his own Facebook page with the caption, “I also do Quinceañeras, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, and funerals.”
