Newton’s Juliana Pasquarosa is 1 episode away from winning ‘The Bachelor’
28-year-old’s Juliana Pasquarosa’s televised quest for true love has carried her all the way to the finale of ‘The Bachelor’ Season 29.

There are only two women left competing for Grant Ellis’ heart on season 29 of ABC’s “The Bachelor.” One of them is a Newton woman from a large Italian family who “isn’t afraid to speak her mind.”
Juliana Pasquarosa, 28, a client service associate at Winthrop Wealth, made it through the Fantasy Suites episode of “The Bachelor” unscathed, leaving only her and venture capitalist Litia Garr, 31, vying for Ellis’ proposal on the March 24 season finale.
For those who haven’t been following along, Ellis, a day trader from New Jersey, was one of the contestants vying for Boston-based physician assistant Jenn Tran’s heart on Season 21 of “The Bachelorette.”
The former basketball player and “self-proclaimed mama’s boy” has made clear that family throughout the series that family is important to him — which could mesh well with Pasquarosa, who is from a big Italian family and is looking for a relationship similar to that of her parents.
Monday’s episode featured Litia, Juliana, and tech engineer Zoe McGrady, 27, each going on dates with Grant in the Dominican Republic.
Throughout the episode, Grant seems most likely to choose Litia, even telling her that he loves her.
“Do I stop here? Do I pick Litia now?” Grant asks. “Or do I continue to pursue the other woman I have really strong feelings for?”
But Grant does sow some seeds of doubt. He admits that Litia telling him she wants to have kids within two years is “a lot faster” than he envisioned. He also questions whether he should have dropped the L-word at all.

Juliana, meanwhile, shares her own intimate moments (both physical and emotional) with Grant. Through tears, she describes being cheated on “again and again” in her previous relationship, which lasted six years.
“It’s such a challenge to go from feeling, like, so minimized in somebody’s life,” she says. “That just screwed me up so bad.”
Grant, shedding tears of his own, tells Juliana that she’s not alone.
“Everybody’s broken up,” Grant says. “I have parts of me that are broken, too. […] That’s what love is for, because it fixes you.”
The finale of “The Bachelor” Season 29 airs Monday, March 24 at 8 p.m. on ABC, and streaming on Hulu.
