Mickey Guyton gave an emotional rendition of the national anthem for Super LVI at So-Fi Stadium. The country star’s performance kicked off the NFL’s biggest day of the year, which saw the Los Angeles Rams face off against the Cincinnati Bengals. Leading up to Sunday, Guyton opened up to ET about the personal significance of her latest career milestone. ‘There's so much division in this country and there’s so much that is happening, it’s hard,’ Guyton explained. ‘This is a moment that I get to be that Black girl from Texas that gets to stand on that stage and sing and hopefully unite the country.’ Source
