Bill Burr, Conan O’Brien, Steve Carell join star-studded Netflix Is A Joke lineup
Bill Burr, Conan O’Brien, Steve Carell, Mindy Kaling, Bill Simmons, and a trio of Barstool hosts are among the celebrities with local ties participating in Netflix Is A Joke 2026.

Conan O’Brien, Bill Burr, and Steve Carell are among the 200+ comedians celebrities taking part in Netflix is a Joke 2026, the third edition of the streaming giant’s annual comedy festival.
Over the course of seven days (May 4-10), Netflix will play host to 350+ live events in Los Angeles, including stand-up performances, variety shows, and live tapings of comedy podcasts.
Some (but not all) of those events will also be streaming on Netflix, the most famous past example being the live broadcast of the roast of Tom Brady during the inaugural Netflix Is A Joke Fest in 2024.
One of the marquee events at Netflix Is A Joke 2026 is the Night of Too Many Stars, a telethon hosted by Jon Stewart on May 7 that will benefit NEXT for Autism. Performers scheduled to appear during the variety show include a trio of Massachusetts natives (Bill Burr, Conan O’Brien, Steve Carell) a New Hampshire native (Sarah Silverman), and a number of non-New Englanders like Nikki Glaser, Tiffany Haddish, Jimmy Kimmel, John Mulaney, Bob Odenkirk, Matt Rife, Sarah Silverman, Ali Wong, and Noah Wyle.
Netflix Is A Joke 2026 will also be a chance for the streaming giant to highlight its recent foray into the world of podcasts. Cambridge native Mindy Kaling will appear with “Running Point” stars Kate Hudson and Brenda Song for a live taping of the podcast “Giggly Squad,” “Boston Sports Guy” Bill Simmons will interview the stars of Netflix’s comedy series “Tires,” and the Barstool Sports podcast “Pardon My Take” will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a live retrospective.
Other highlights from the Netflix Is A Joke 2026 lineup include a showcase set from Jerry Seinfeld, a comedy night hosted by the Los Angeles Dodgers (featuring Dorchester native Sam Jay, among others), and a live taping of David Letterman interviewing Martin Short.
Tickets for Netflix Is A Joke 2026 can be found on the event’s website, or via Ticketmaster.
