An iconic sno-ball stand got a visit from a Louisiana celebrity after Hurricane Francine made landfall Wednesday. Neuty the Nutria stopped by Sal’s Sno-balls in Metairie for an ice cream cone minus the ice cream. Metairie is located outside of New Orleans. Sal’s took on at least an inch of water during the flash flood emergency. The stand, known for its frozen deserts, was open Thursday with their full menu available. The sno-ball stand offered multiple charging stations for those who needed to charge their devices after the power went out during the hurricane. See more in the video player above.
