MILLION BAIL. HE’S DUE BACK IN COURT ON JUNE 16TH. A ROUTINE WORKDAY TURNED INTO A LIFE SAVING MOMENT FOR A LOUISVILLE MAN. KEITH WARE WAS ON HIS REGULAR ROUTE AS A SANITATION WORKER WHEN HE SPOTTED A SEWER MAINTENANCE TRUCK WITH NO ONE AROUND. THAT’S WHEN HE HEARD SOMEONE YELLING FOR HELP. THAT WORKER WAS DOING MAINTENANCE IN A SEWER PUMP STATION WHEN SHE BECAME TRAPPED IN IT. AFTER A WHILE, I HEARD A SOUND AND I COULDN’T TELL WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM BECAUSE THERE WERE, LIKE, BUSHES AROUND THIS. WELL, SO I HEARD SOMEONE YELL OUT, HELP! AGAIN! AND I WENT THROUGH THE BUSHES AND LOOKED DOWN THIS WELL, AND I SAW HER, AND WITHIN MINUTES EMERGENCY CREWS WERE ON SCENE. FIREFIGHTERS USED A ROPE RESCUE SYSTEM TO SAFELY PULL THE WOMAN OUT. Keith Ware was on his regular route as a sanitation worker when he spotted a sewer maintenance truck with no one around.That’s when he heard someone yelling for help.”After a while, I heard a sound, and I couldn’t tell where it was coming from because there were, like, bushes around this well. So I heard someone yell out, ‘Help!’ Again! And I went through the bushes and look down this well, and I saw her,” Ware said.The worker was doing maintenance in a sewer pump station when she became trapped in a well.Within minutes, emergency crews were on scene. Firefighters used a rope rescue system to safely pull the woman out. She is expected to be OK.After it was all said and done, Ware went back to work, finishing the route.
