Occupant pulled from minivan crushed by falling tree in Holliston

First responders pulled an unresponsive person from a vehicle on Friday afternoon after it was struck by a falling tree in Holliston, police said. The incident at 350 Prentice Street was reported to 911 at 2:24 p.m. Once the unresponsive occupant was removed from the minivan by the Holliston Fire Department, they were taken to the hospital by Holliston EMS, police said. Sky5 flew over the area around 3 p.m. and saw the Chrysler Voyager minivan on the side of the road with heavy damage to the roof and windshield.The tree was moved off the vehicle, and some of the doors were left open by the emergency response. The Holliston Police Department said the incident is being investigated with help from Massachusetts State Police.
