Cambridge man drowned in New Hampshire lake Friday night, officials say
New Hampshire Marine Patrol is investigating a possible drowning after a Massachusetts man died in a lake in Manchester on Friday, authorities said.Just before 7 p.m., multiple crews responded to Crystal Lake on a report of a person drowning. According to Marine Patrol, Amin Taheri, 33, of Cambridge, was swimming in the lake when a witness noticed he had disappeared.Witnesses found Taheri submerged underwater. Life-saving measures were attempted, but Taheri was ultimately pronounced dead at a local hospital, officials say. Marine Patrol is investigating the death, which they say does not appear to be suspicious.
