Man seriously injured in 20-foot fall though skylight at Mass. shop
A man was seriously injured Saturday when he fell about 20 feet through a skylight at an Attleboro, Massachusetts, auto repair shop. At about 11:15 a.m., firefighters responded to Pleasant Street Auto, at 676 Pleasant St., for a report of a fall. Firefighters found a man in his 40s who had fallen through a skylight into the maintenance bay while cleaning gutters, Chief Scott T. Lachance said. The man suffered serious head and arm injuries. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital. His condition is not immediately known.The Attleboro Police Department is investigating the incident and has notified the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
